Is Your RV Furnace An Underachiever?

Want to increase the efficiency of your furnace? One way to do it is to remove any unneeded extra flexible ducting that was unnecessarily provided by your manufacturer.
With flexible ducting extra length equals extra turns and bends in the ducting. The more turns and bends that you have reduces air flow to the vents inside of your Rv. The longer distances at your hot air has to travel equals greater heat loss before that air gets to the vents inside your RV.

You can see in the last picture that there was almost 20°F difference in heat gain as well as air flow increasing tremendously. (anemometer showing Celsius)
